He has led large scale land acquisition campaigns resulting in more than 100,000 leased acres, secured mineral rights across multiple basins, and acquired hundreds of miles of pipeline right of way throughout the United States, including work associated with major infrastructure projects such as the Keystone Pipeline and utility scale solar and wind developments across the PJM region.

Throughout his career, Kevin has been brought into projects where previous efforts stalled or failed to deliver results. Known for his ability to move complex negotiations forward under compressed timelines, he has secured land agreements and site control on projects where other firms were unable to reach execution.

Under his leadership, Pursuant Energy Partners has developed a reputation for speed, accuracy, and execution in land control, helping developers and infrastructure companies secure critical project acreage faster and with greater certainty.

Dan Cohen is the Co-Founder and Owner of Pursuant Energy Partners, where he directs land acquisition operations for oil and gas and renewable energy projects across the United States. With more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector, Dan has led acquisition efforts involving thousands of leased acres, mineral rights across multiple basins, and hundreds of miles of pipeline right of way.

Under his leadership, Pursuant has secured hundreds of solar and wind site agreements while continuing to support pipeline and upstream oil and gas clients nationwide. His ability to apply decades of oil and gas experience to renewable energy development allows Pursuant to operate effectively across every major energy sector.

Dan is also the architect of Pulse, Pursuant’s proprietary project management platform, which integrates mapping, reporting, billing, and performance tracking to provide clients with real time visibility from first contact through project completion.

Known for his structured approach to operations and strong industry relationships, Dan focuses on building systems and teams that allow Pursuant to deliver consistent, high-quality results for developers and energy companies across the country.

Gina Van Decar serves as Manager of Land, Title, and Strategic Client Relations at Pursuant Energy Partners. With nearly two decades of experience across coal, oil and gas, pipelines, and renewable energy development, she plays a central role in coordinating land operations, title research, and client engagement across Pursuant’s projects.

Her background includes leadership roles in legal support, title management, land administration, and business development. She has overseen large scale title research initiatives, managed complex lease portfolios, and supported projects ranging from interstate pipeline infrastructure to utility scale solar development.

At Pursuant, Gina helps ensure that land acquisition, title verification, and client communication operate as one integrated system. Her attention to detail and operational oversight allow projects to move forward quickly while maintaining the accuracy and compliance required for successful development.
